Monsoon

I've always meant to check out Tokio Hotel, mainly because MTV Buzzworthy blogs about them a lot, but I never got around to it. But thanks to Christina, I can't get their song "Monsoon" out of my head.

She brought Guitar Hero over after the potluck on Saturday and we played that for a few hours. It is depressing how bad I am at it. Thankfully Christina found easy songs for me to play so I could go on the difficult and expert levels for bass! She even found easy songs for me to play guitar for. She rocks XD But eventually my fingers got too pained and tired so I opted for singing. This is the song that Christina and I rocked out to (her on expert guitar, me on medium vocals) and we earned almost $300! *^^*

I really like this song. I think it's quite beautiful and touching.

So why do I say currency conversion does not love me? I was already shocked that my Amazon gift card for $50NZ had been reduced to $35US in September, but guess what it's been reduced to now?

$29.69US! Wow. Now, I would never complain about free money, but I'm just saying.. currency conversion is not so kind to Esther. But yay for the money!
